Description
This beautiful print was painted by Caitlyn Davies of Dustin-Koa Art, who is a Proud Barkindji Woman and First Nations artist.
These pieces tell the story of an area special to the artists fathers upbringing. From Broken Hill to Menindee Lakes, the artwork traces the path up to Wilcannia, White Cliffs, and further along to Packsaddle. The artwork showcases the beauty of the region, with the purple line symbolising flow of the Darling River. Mutawintji is also represented in this painting, a special and spiritual place.
10% of proceeds of this collection will be donated to the Stars Foundation supporting Indigenous girls and young women to attend and remain engaged at school, complete year 12 and move into work or further study.
