By processing your payment through our online and instore system you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of our return policy so please have a read prior to purchasing with us.
Returns & Exchanges – Australian Customers
We want you to love your Proud Poppy pieces. If something’s not quite right, we’ve made returns simple and flexible.
Instant Refunds (New!)
Australian customers can now get Instant Refunds through Refundid.
When you choose this option in our returns portal, Refundid will ask for a quick ID check. This is simply to verify it’s really you and to prevent fraud — it’s secure and never used for marketing.
Once verified, your refund is released instantly (no waiting for your parcel to reach us!).
Instant Exchanges
Need a different size or want to swap styles? Choose Instant Exchange in the portal.
Your replacement item is created as a new order straight away and sent to our warehouse team for dispatch. Your original item just needs to be returned as normal.
For Instant Exchanges, Refundid places a temporary card authorisation (nothing is charged unless the original item isn’t returned).
A $10 shipping fee applies to send out your new item.
Your Return Options
Depending on your eligibility and what suits you best, you can choose:

Standard refunds, credits and exchanges are processed once we physically receive your item. Please note, with both exchange options there will be a $10 shipping fee for your new exchange order.
Eligibility Timeframes
Refund to original payment method:
Submit your return within 14 days of fulfilment.
Items bought using discount codes, loyalty vouchers or already reduced items aren’t eligible for refunds - but you can still get a store credit or exchange.
After 14 days:
You still have 30 days from fulfilment to return for a store credit (valid for 3 years) or an exchange.
Processing Times
Returns can take 5–10 business days to reach us.
Once received, we aim to process them within 1–2 business days.
Instant Refunds and Instant Exchanges are handled immediately when you lodge your request.
During busy sale periods, processing may take 2–5 business days once your parcel arrives.

To be eligible to receive a refund your return request must be submitted within 14 days of fulfilment. If you applied a discount code/loyalty voucher to your order, you will be eligible for a store credit.
If you miss this date, don't worry we have your back! You are more than welcome to submit a return request within 30 days of fulfilment to receive a store credit (valid for 3 years).
Rest of World customers are responsible for arranging their own return shipping.
If you are wishing to exchange your item(s) we recommend opting for a refund and repurchasing your desired style and size now while stock lasts.

Footwear - Returns Info
Please ensure that when you try for size on a carpeted surface prior to heading out and about. If these are not the dancing shoes for you and you unfortunately need to return - they will need to be returned with no scuffs, marks or scratches.
Shoes returned in any less than new condition will be returned to sender.
Swimwear Return Policy
We get it, swimwear can be tricky! If you need to return or exchange, no worries – just make sure your swimmers still have the tags and hygiene stickers attached. And when you're trying them on for the first time, please pop on some underwear, just in case you decide they're not quite the perfect fit.
When items are being returned to us, we will be thoroughly checking these items to ensure they are in a resaleable condition. Any find of deodorant, makeup, tan, smells etc will not be eligible for a return. We have the right to reject any item we deem not fit for resell.
Kasey Rainbow x Proud Poppy Bedding Return Policy:
We only accept returns on bedding items that are unwashed, unused, and in their original packaging with all tags still attached. All bedding items must be returned in unopened packaging. Returns must be initiated within 30 days of from order fulfilment date.
Please note the following:
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
- Items purchased with a discount code are not eligible for a refund.
Keychains & Jewellery:
Please note that all Keychains and jewellery items are ineligible for return or refund.
All returns must be submitted in our returns portal before being sent back to us.
Once your return has been delivered back to us please allow 5-10 business days for your return outcome to be processed
The following items cannot be returned (unless deemed faulty)
- Products in any condition other than its original condition
- Product which have been worn
- Products with tags that have been removed
- Products that smell of perfume, or odours of any kind
- Products which have been stained or marked eg. make up, fake tan or deodorant
- Items marked ‘final sale’
- Accessories including - coffee cups, wine glasses, drink bottles, jewellery, hair accessories or soap etc.
If you have opted for an instant exchange through our returns portal, and your returned item doesn't meet the criteria above, we will need to charge your card for the item.

You're more than welcome to return your item to one of our stores whether you purchased it online or in store as long as it meets our return criteria.
Something to note: If you have already lodged your return online through our returns portal, this means your return must be sent via post back to our warehouse. If you do not wish to continue with this process and prefer to return your item in store, please let one of our friendly team members know.
